What Is Predict-a-League?
Predict-a-League is an easy to play game involving predicting the scores of a football match.There is no complicated buying players up to a set amount and worrying about injuries or cards.
Just enter the score you think the game will end on, and if you get the score spot on, you get 3 points, if your prediction is the right result but not the correct score, you will get 1 point. The points are then added up and you will be placed in our league!
You may enter your prediction up to 1 hour prior to the start of the match.
Why Was Predict-a-League Set Up?
Predict-a-League was inspired by a prediction game I played during the 2006 World Cup. A very simple idea whereby users predict the final score of a game by the end of normal full time.It helped to keep me interested in the competition long after England were knocked out.
The first season was basically just friends and family playing - and in fact I wasn't going to continue it after the first season - until I realised how many people had registered for it over the summer! And after a second successful season, I have enabled the ability to predict for the top 4 English Leagues!
